About Simplify
Simplify explains articles in plain language. Paste a link, or ask about a topic and it finds a good article on it. You get a short summary, a section-by-section walkthrough at the reading level you pick, diagrams of the key ideas, and the main terms explained. It also solves puzzles step by step.
How explanations are made
An AI model (Claude, by Anthropic) reads the article and writes the explanation. Every point cites the paragraphs it came from, and a second pass checks each point against those paragraphs. Points the article doesn't support are removed, and points that go beyond what it says are marked as interpretation.
The explanation stays an AI's reading of someone else's work. It can be wrong, so the original article, linked at the top of every page, is always the source of truth. Short excerpts are quoted so you can compare the plain-words version with the original; the article belongs to its publisher.
